  I was able to attend the soft opening on 9/8/16 prior to the public opening on 9/10/16. It's nice to have an operating distillery in the area, one that truly crafts their offerings on site and not adds their own label to the work of others.
  
  The drink offerings were excellent, both in taste and options. I enjoy the sweeter side of things and the honey whiskey hit the spot. Service was excellent, and the servers had the product knowledge to offer suggestions based on your preferences. All in all it was a great experience and I wish Green Door all the success!

  Great addition to the downtown Kalamazoo scene. Environment is comfortable and, while spartan, it is very comfortable with it's own style. Nice change of pace from the brew pubs in town, and nestled just off the beaten path enough to feel like a hidden gem. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable - and willing to educate me in their products.
